Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how M.lesnar Company Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind the AgriDoctor.AI mobile application and website, collects, uses, and protects your information. It covers both the AgriDoctor.AI Android app and this website. By using AgriDoctor.AI you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

AgriDoctor.AI is operated by M.lesnar Company Ltd, based at Kabale Central Market, Kabale, Uganda. We provide AI-assisted crop disease detection, farm monitoring, weather and planning tools, an agricultural assistant, and an agricultural marketplace, built for farmers in Uganda and the wider region.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide when you create an account

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Farm location (a place name or description you enter, such as your district)
• Password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form — we never store or see your actual password)

2.2 Farm field location (precise location)

If you choose to map your farm within the app, we collect and store the precise geographic boundaries of the field you map (GPS coordinates). This is only collected when you actively draw or map a farm — we do not track your device location in the background. We use these boundaries to provide field-specific satellite monitoring and recommendations. You can delete a mapped farm at any time from within the app.

2.3 Photos you submit for diagnosis

When you photograph a plant for disease detection, the image is analyzed to identify possible diseases. We do not store your diagnosis photos. The image is processed to generate a result and then discarded. To generate the analysis, the image is sent to our AI processing provider (see Section 5) at the time of analysis and is not retained by them for this purpose. We save the text result of a diagnosis (such as the identified plant, condition, and confidence) to your history, but not the photo itself.

2.4 Assistant conversations

When you use AgriBot, our in-app assistant, your messages and the assistant's replies are saved to your account so you can view your conversation history. You can delete your chat history at any time from within the app.

2.5 Diagnosis, farm, and planning history

We store records you generate in the app — such as diagnosis results, farms you create, and planning reports — so the app can show your history and give you more relevant, personalized recommendations over time.

2.6 Profile photo (optional)

If you upload a profile photo, it is stored using our image hosting provider (see Section 5) and linked to your account.

2.7 Payment information

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed through MTN Mobile Money (MoMo). To process a payment we send the payment provider the phone number you use to pay and the amount. We store a record of the transaction (such as the provider, plan, transaction reference, and status). We do not store your Mobile Money PIN, and we never receive it — it is entered directly on your phone with your mobile network.

2.8 Security and account activity

We keep limited records needed to operate and secure your account, such as sign-in events, login counts and times, and one-time verification codes used for email/phone verification or password reset.

2.9 Website information

If you join our waitlist or use our contact form on this website, we collect the name, email, phone, and message details you submit, in order to respond to you and send you the updates you request.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and provide the app's features.
• To analyze plant photos and return disease detection results.
• To provide field-specific monitoring for farms you map.
• To give personalized, location- and history-aware recommendations.
• To process subscription payments through MTN Mobile Money.
• To verify your identity (email/phone) and secure your account.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis and Your Consent

We process your information to provide the services you request and with your consent, which you give by creating an account and using the app. You can withdraw consent by deleting your data or your account (see Section 7).

5. Third-Party Services We Share Data With

We use trusted third-party providers to deliver parts of our service. We share only the information necessary for each provider to do its job:

• MTN Mobile Money — to process subscription payments (payment phone number, amount).
• OpenAI — to analyze plant photos and power the AgriBot assistant (your submitted image or message at the time of the request).
• Cloudinary — to host images you upload, such as your profile photo.
• Brevo — to send transactional emails such as confirmations and notifications.
• Flutterwave — to process card or other online payments where offered.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

6. Data Protection

• Data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
• Passwords are stored only as secure cryptographic hashes.
• We apply access controls, and forms are protected with anti-abuse measures such as rate limiting.
• Each user's records (diagnoses, farms, chats) are isolated to that user's account.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct or update your information from within the app.
• Delete your data — including mapped farms and chat history — from within the app.
• Request deletion of your entire account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

8. Data Retention

We keep your account information and app records for as long as your account is active. When you delete specific data or your account, the associated records are removed. Diagnosis photos are never retained beyond the moment of analysis.

9. Children's Privacy

AgriDoctor.AI is intended for adult farmers and agricultural users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
