Our Mission

Purpose-Built for African Farmers

Designed around African farming — not adapted from somewhere else.

Most agricultural apps are built for Europe, North America, or large commercial farms. AgriDoctor.AI is being developed specifically for African agriculture, where farmers face different climates, crop diseases, planting seasons, soil conditions, internet connectivity, and access to agricultural experts.

Every recommendation is designed with local farming realities in mind.

Uganda Pilot

AgriDoctor.AI supports Uganda's major food and cash crops including maize, beans, bananas, cassava, coffee, Irish potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, rice, groundnuts, and others.

Recommendations are based on Uganda's agricultural calendar, seasonal rainfall patterns, local pests and diseases, and district-specific growing conditions.

District Intelligence

A farmer in Kabale faces different weather, temperatures, elevation, rainfall, soils, and crop diseases than a farmer in Gulu, Arua, Mbale, or Mbarara.

AgriDoctor.AI considers district-level information to provide recommendations that reflect your local farming environment instead of generic national advice.

  • Seasonal rainfall timing
  • Temperature variations
  • Growing seasons
  • Common regional diseases
  • Soil characteristics
  • Suitable crop varieties

Built for Smallholder Farmers

AgriDoctor.AI is designed to help these farmers increase productivity using only a smartphone.

The platform focuses on affordability, simplicity, and practical recommendations that farmers can actually apply in the field.

Powered by Local Data

Instead of relying on a single source, AgriDoctor.AI brings together:

This creates recommendations that are practical, localized, and continuously improving.

  • Satellite imagery for crop monitoring
  • Weather forecasts
  • AI disease recognition
  • Crop knowledge databases
  • Farm planning models
  • Farmer inputs

Africa-Wide Vision

As the platform grows, AgriDoctor.AI will support crops, languages, weather systems, and farming practices across Africa, beginning with East Africa before expanding throughout the continent.

AI That Learns With African Agriculture

AgriDoctor.AI is designed as a continuously improving platform. As new agricultural knowledge becomes available, the system can be updated to provide farmers with increasingly accurate diagnoses, recommendations, and insights over time.

Supporting Sustainable Agriculture

By promoting early disease detection, efficient input use, climate-smart planning, and data-driven decision making, the goal is healthier crops, reduced losses, higher incomes, and stronger food security for farming communities across Africa.

Future expansion

Planned as the platform grows — beginning with East Africa.
